President Bingu wa Mutharika says Malawians should guard against Western influences such as homosexuality which he said lowered its practitioners to a level that is worse than that of dogs.
Mutharika made the remarks during a political mass rally in Lilongewe yesterday as debate on decriminilasing homosexuality and lesbianism in the country gathers momentum.
